Redmi 10c (fog) Fix Hang Fastboot mode Without Password

Redmi 10c is one of the latest smartphones from Xiaomi. It comes with a good amount of features at a pocket friendly price. It has a 5.84-inch full HD+ display and is powered by the latest Android 9 Pie OS. The phone comes with a powerful octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM. It has a large 3700mAh battery which should last you a full day. It comes with a dual rear camera setup and a 13MP front camera. The phone comes with a fog-less fix for hang fast boot mode without a password.

Hang issue in fast boot mode is when the phone is stuck at a certain stage and cannot be progressed. This can be due to a number of reasons, but the most common one is a forgotten password. In this post, we are going to show you a workaround to fix the hang fast boot mode without password.

First of all, make sure that you have the latest firmware installed on your phone. You can download the firmware from the Xiaomi website.

Once you have the firmware installed, connect your phone to the computer using a USB cable.

Next, open the fast boot folder on your computer. To do this, click on the Windows icon on your computer screen and type in “C:\Windows\System32\fast boot”.

Now, open the firmware file that you downloaded earlier and click on the flash button. This will flash the firmware on your phone.

Once the firmware has been flashed, disconnect your phone from the computer.

Next, boot your phone into fast boot mode by pressing and holding the power button and volume down button at the same time until the phone starts booting into fast boot mode.

Now, enter the following command to get into the debug mode.

fast boot oem get identity

This will show you the device’s identity. In the example screenshot below, the device’s identity is “Redmi 10c (fog)”.

Now, press the enter key to return to the command prompt.

Next, we need to reset the phone’s password. To do this, enter the following command.

fast boot oem reset_ password

This will reset the password on your phone. Make sure that you write down the new password so that you can use it in the future if needed.

After resetting the password, we can finally fix the hang issue in fast boot mode. To do this, we need to connect the phone to the computer and enter the following command.

fast boot oem lock device

This will lock the device so that it cannot be used until the lock code has been entered again.

Now, enter the following command to unlock the device.

fast boot oem unlock

This will unlock the device and allow you to use it in fast boot mode.
